💪 What It Is:
A friendly, inclusive weightlifting morning combining a mini lifting competition with a relaxed social atmosphere.
It’s designed for anyone who wants to build strength, confidence, and community — from beginners to experienced lifters.
🏆 What Happens:
Guided warm-up and movement prep led by our coaches
Three lifts: Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift
Each lifter performs their top attempt in each lift
Supportive, encouraging atmosphere — not about winning, but about doing your best
Scores recorded for fun and personal progress
Time afterwards for coffee, snacks, and chatting
☕ Social Element:
After lifting, everyone stays for a relaxed coffee and catch-up.
It’s a chance to meet other Studio Upstairs members, celebrate everyone’s achievements, and enjoy the community vibe.

Complete beginners welcome — full coaching and guidance provided
Regular lifters who want to test their progress in a supportive setting

Our Winter Wellness Day is designed to leave you feeling grounded, restored, and ready for the season ahead — a cosy morning at The Studio Upstairs filled with calm movement, fresh air, warmth, and community.

Guided Winter Walk – a mindful stroll through the local countryside to breathe, move and connect
Mindful Strength Session – low-intensity, empowering movement to reconnect with your body
Seasonal Brunch & Herbal Teas – nourishing, wholesome food served in the studio
Gentle Yoga – unwind tight winter muscles and ease tension
Guided Relaxation & Breathwork – a deeply calming session to finish the morning feeling restored
